Sagittarius Full Super Moon energy update
New dreams and goals are within reach, but we’re being called to elevate our vibration to match what we’re calling in.
Hey Witches,
Mercury retrograde is over! Time to sign contracts, take trips, and have those difficult conversations that have (hopefully) been on hold over the last few weeks.
Mercury retrograde doesn’t just mean crossed wires and scrambled technology — while the messenger planet is moving backwards, there’s often information that’s hidden from us.
Those hidden truths come to light once Mercury stations direct — which it did on the 4th of June — so you may be having some “aha” moments over the coming days or weeks.
Perhaps you’ve noticed that June has a balmy feel after the cosmic bumper-car ride that was May. You may still be integrating — or recovering from — the Scorpio lunar eclipse.
Let’s take a look at what the rest of June has in store for us.
Sagittarius Full Moon energy update
As the weather warms in the northern hemisphere and our thoughts turn to scrunching our toes in the sand on warm, fragrant nights, the Sagittarius Full Super Moon sweeps in like a summer breeze to help us hit the reset button.
This lunation will fall on the 14th of the month, bringing with it a soothing and expansive energy. Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter, the planet of growth and expansion — which, as you may remember, is this month’s theme here at The Coven.
Jupiter is currently transiting Aries, the first sign of the zodiac, bringing an air of newness and possibility. Jupiter transits Aries every 12 years, so look back at what was happening for you in the summer of 2010 — you may see “elevated echoes” of those patterns showing up in your life now.
New dreams and goals are within reach, but we’re being called to elevate our vibration to match what we’re calling in. “Raising your vibration” is a term that gets thrown around a lot, but all it really means is aligning with the energy of unconditional love. When we act from a place of love, we can create the world we wish to live in.
So what does this look like in practice?
It means being compassionate toward those who might have wronged you, knowing that hurt people hurt people, and understanding that their actions come from their wounded inner child.
Unconditional love also looks like sacred service. Ask yourself what you can do to help others, no matter how small the gesture may seem. Can you donate your time, money, or talents? Can you lend a hand to a neighbour with reduced mobility? No act of kindness is too small, and all together they create a ripple effect that spreads to the entire world.
Sagittarius rules the thighs and pelvis and is considered one of the most active signs of the zodiac — Sag is always on the move. You may feel creatively inspired under this Full Moon or get a sudden attack of wanderlust. It’s also a great time for visioning and manifestation.
Finally, this Full Moon is asking us to let go of any false beliefs we may be holding onto in order to align with the energy of what we’re calling in. This is a time to release the illusion of control and lean into letting the path unfold before us. We don’t always need to have the road ahead mapped out — focusing on one step at a time and being open to receiving miracles can fill your life with beautiful and expected gifts.
Card of the week
Every other week, I pull a card to provide guidance for subscribers of The Coven.
This week, I’m using my “Moon Oracle” deck and the card I’ve pulled for you is “Third Quarter.”
This card has a summery vibe — it’s calling us outside to soak up the warmer weather and shorter nights. Getting out in nature will help you align with your higher self and receive downloads. It feels abundant, light, and playful — a reminder not to take ourselves so seriously.
Where attention goes, energy flows, and it’s so easy to get caught up in doomscrolling. This card’s message is to make sure we keep coming back to the good and beautiful things that are happening (and they are happening). We also need to stay laser-focused on the world we’re creating and not get distracted by external drama.
This card is also inviting us to find the balance between work and play, effort and rest, masculine and feminine, light and dark within ourselves.
The Sagittarius Full Moon reminds us that we are powerful co-creators in charge of our own destinies. But to achieve our highest goals and dreams, we must find the balance between self-care and aligned, inspired action.
When I say self-care, I mean anything you do to take care of your energy and return to your centre of inner truth. This might be practices like yoga or meditation, journaling, dancing, or anything else that helps you reset your nervous system.
If you feel like your life has become all work and no play, this card is an invitation to let your hair down and spend time around people who elevate your spirit.
Sagittarius Full Moon ritual suggestions
Ideas to help you harness the energy of the Sagittarius Full Moon
Harvest the first herbs, fruits, and vegetables of the season that you may have planted earlier in the year and give thanks for Mother Nature’s abundance.
Tune into your inner wisdom — light a candle and meditate on the flame. Ask your guides a question or for general guidance and watch for any shapes or patterns that may give you answers.
Plan — or take — a trip.
Get grounded — take a walk in nature, swim in living water, or simply stand with your bare feet on the ground.
Give love — how can you spread a little more love in the world? Meditate on your heart space and imagine sending love out to those who need it or to the whole world. Take it one step further and tell someone you love them and why!
Accept love — sometimes we push others away. Meditate on your heart chakra and focus on opening it to receive love.
Journaling prompts
These prompts are designed to get you thinking. Answer as many or as few as you like and allow your mind to meander on the page.
What makes you feel expansive? What makes you contract?
Write out the vision you would like to see manifest for yourself, your community, and the world.
How can I bring more lightheartedness and joy into my life?
How can I take better care of myself this month?
What aligned actions can I take that will move me in the direction of my goals? Commit to taking at least one this week by writing it in your diary or calendar.
What beliefs am I holding onto that no longer serve me? How can I let go of those beliefs?
Write about the things, people, and situations in your life that bring you joy and/or make you feel abundant.
Write about someone you love and what you love about them. If you can, send it to them.
Before I go…
As I mentioned in a previous edition, I’ve recently been training as a priestess of the divine feminine with the wonderful, incredible Priestess Darcie (if you’re ready to take a deep dive into spiritual leadership, I highly recommend her Sacred Priestess Training).
The dedication ceremony is at the end of this month, after which I’ll be a certified priestess.
Some of the modalities I’ve trained in include inner child and energy healing, oracle card reading, and channelling — and I’m excited to start using these skills to support others.
To celebrate, I’m giving away five free 1-1 sessions for subscribers of The Coven. Hit reply to book your spot.
Wishing you a peaceful, joyful Sagittarius Full Moon.
Love and blessings,
Victoria
